I shaped the UX concept, mapped the main student exchange flow, created wireframes, and designed the app screens in Figma.

Students need a safer, more trusted way to buy and sell items with people on their own campus instead of relying on broad marketplaces.

The primary users are college students who want to declutter, save money, or find deals close to where they live. Secondary users include student athletes and club members who frequently trade gear, textbooks, and equipment within their teams and organizations.

I drew on informal conversations with classmates about their experiences buying and selling through general marketplaces and group chats. The recurring themes were distrust of strangers, no-shows, and the hassle of coordinating off-campus meetups, all of which pointed toward a campus-verified, meetup-focused experience.

The flow emphasizes college email sign-up, clear listing details, in-app messaging, and suggested public meetup locations to reduce uncertainty during exchanges.

I started with low-fidelity wireframes of the core loop (browse, view a listing, message the seller, and arrange a meetup), then iterated on the listing detail layout so price, condition, and seller campus were visible at a glance before moving into high-fidelity screens in Figma.

With more time, I would refine listing filters, test the safety language with students, and explore how campus verification should work for transfer or commuter students.
